Lord Help me to sing

when we mix our affections with the cares of this world, it’s like taking our heart and throwing it on the gruond. When we don’t take care of the state of our well being and love of GOd then it’s when we are easily wounded and damaged by this world.

We make god work more than he should if we don’t do our part in remaining faithful to him. When we get the idea that all the weight is upon god to rescue us, then this is presumption and testing him.

Singing to god with instruments helps us connect to him and disconnect from the nonsense which is ephemeral and passing away.

it’s true that it’s easy to preach and harder to do. I request that we be conscientious of all we see and our affections.
